So psyched out right now! I just received a personal email from the Steve Harvey team asking if I would be interested in a part for a new production they are creating. Like Steve Harvey?! Lwkdewldkns!!!! You know I replied and got my audition tape in!!
I’m extremely blessed….so grateful for everything that has been happening recently in my life.

My class at The Acting Studio Chicago is amazing!! I am getting so much out of it. The first day I ran into people from Second City & ChiArts and today (the 2nd day) P&R came and had lunch with us. They were fantastic and gave us all some great advice. I took a lot away with me from their visit!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!! Stay safe and have fun today! I am finally heading back home, Sweet Home Chicago. It has been a busy summer so far – Interplay Jazz Camp was fantastic, started Filming Death 101 (starring Dakota Raen and Darren Marlar and our Director is Keith Romine), and I have another audition on Monday!! Feeling blessed!!

Premier was fantastic! Michael Shannon is amazing and Man of Steel was AMAZING!! It was also great to see my fellow A Red Orchid Ensemble members!! Now I am off to an Interplay Jazz & Arts Camp out East and when I fly home I have a short film that I am doing with Dakota Raen, directed by Keith Romine.

I’m so excited to invite you to a fantastic event A Red Orchid Theatre is having – it is a special benefit screening of the summer blockbuster, MAN OF STEEL, co-hosted by Michael Shannon (playing the villain General Zod in the movie), and followed by a party at Rockit Bar & Grill!
The screening will be on Saturday, June 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at the AMC Loews 600 North Michigan movie theatres. Michael Shannon will introduce the movie to all guests and, after the screening, a fabulous party (within walking distance) will follow at Rockit Bar & Grill with complementary appetizers and cocktails (and special Kryptonite-style ‘mock-tails’ for the kids!) All tickets are $75 and can be reserved online at: http://www.aredorchidtheatre.
All proceeds for the event will support the work of A Red Orchid Theatre, including its upcoming season productions and Youth Ensemble programming (don’t you want more fabulous shows like Our City, Ourselves; Youth Voices for Tolerance).
