Fantastic time at the Premiere of The Great Chicago Adventure and the unveiling of the new theatre at the Chicago History Museum. Othel and I were proud to be asked to read the Declaration of Independence at the opening ceremony. It was a beautiful day and I was happy so many of my friends and family were there to share it with me.

10:00 a.m. Outdoor activities on Uihlein Plaza
10:45 a.m. Children’s parade led by the World’s Tallest Uncle Sam
11:00 a.m. Opening remarks by Museum president Gary T. Johnson and posting of the colors.
11:10 a.m. Reading of the Declaration of Independence by Ellie Danisch and Othel Owen, stars of the Museum’s new film, The Great Chicago Adventure
11:20 a.m. Keynote oration by civic leader Ronald J. Gidwitz
11:40 a.m. Retiring of the colors and Brown Bess musket firing by the King’s Eighth Regiment of Foot
12:00 noon Program concludes, Museum opens to the public. Admission is free for Illinois residents today.

My improv team from ChiArts, impACT, performs two shows this Sunday, April 19, at Second City’s deMaat Studio Theatre at 6 and 8 pm. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door only. Seating is limited.
The deMaat Studio Theatre is located inside the Piper’s Alley complex at 1608 N. Well Street. See you there!!

Last night my recent film, Oxide Incident, won Best Narrative film and Best Sound Design at Blaquefyre Independent Film Festival!!  I also just booked a featured film for the Chicago History Museum which will run in the museum as well as online-thanks LTA!

Happy Thanksgiving!! I have been so busy that I have not updated in quite awhile. Filmed a National SAG commercial earlier this month and I am getting new headshots in December. Hopefully things will slow down and I can post more. Have a safe and happy Turkey Day!!
