Looks like Chicago is filming a TV Pilot – called Chicago Fire. Check out the link below to learn more about it. The day they closed the Columbus bridge to film, is the same day my mom, Jen, was an extra on the set. Let’s hope it get’s picked up!! YAY Chicago!!

Finally, here are some pictures from An Evening of F.A.M.E (Foundation of Artists Mentored in Entertainment). I am posting some of my favs but also giving a link (if you are on FB), where you can view more!
Taylor Mallory, my mom, me and Tonja Thigpen - Taylor and Tonja are two of the coolest people in Chicago!! Just met them over Christmas but feel like I have known them forever - they rock!

F.A.M.E. (Foundation of Artists Mentored in Entertainment) was fantastic! It was held at the Rockit Bar and Grill on Hubbard in Chicago! Billy Corgan, of the Smashing Pumpkins, was one of the guest judges. As was Taylor Mallory, a friend and fellow LTA Talent along with being a recording artist with Level Next Music. The three other guest judges were Julian from Julianontheradio from the B96 Radio, Brotha’ Fred from Brotha’ Fred’s Neighborhood on 103.5, and Arabel Alva Rosales, Co-Principal and Founder of Latino Fashion Week.

Words I understand as I have just accepted my admission to ChiArts, The Chicago High School for the Arts; one of the premier arts training and college preparatory programs in the country. Over 1300 talented Chicago teens auditioned and only 150 were accepted into dance, music, visual art, theatre or musical theatre…I think only 15 are accepted into the theatre program – which is my concentration! I am incredibly excited and honored to be given this amazing opportunity!!

Found out yesterday that I booked a commercial!! It is for an online course/school. It shoots today! And big SHOUT OUT and THANK YOU to Dakota Raen Robbins and her mom for picking me and taking me to film…my normal mode of transportation (my mom) is in Hawaii. Good friends are a blessing beyond measure!!
